• Ensure the magnet or base clamp is firmly adhered and workpiece stable before drilling; use tethering when working on angled/overhead surfaces.
• Do not use hammer/impact mode; maintain steady feed and allow slug to eject naturally — stop immediately if feed slows or chatter develops.
• Disconnect power or disable magnet before changing cutters, pilot pins or shanks.
