The new KAPEX KS 60 dispenses with everything not needed for the job – such as every unnecessary gram of weight. With impressive features such as ergonomically positioned carrying handles, cord holder and transport safety device and an extremely compact design thanks to flush-mounted guide rods, this device makes no compromises in terms of precision and versatility – with a mitre angle on both sides of up to 60 degrees and an inclination angle on both sides of up to 46 or 47 degrees. The Festool twin-column guide with two bearings ensures that the saw blade is guided reliably and smoothly. The KS 60 E-UG-Set/XL is part of Festool&s KAPEX sliding compound mitre saw range.
The UG-KS 60 underframe works as both a stand and transport frame, making the saw easier to move around site.
The KA-UG-KS 60-R/L trimming attachment allows precise work with the extension arm up to a cutting length of 2,4 m.
The included SM-KS bevel makes it easier to measure interior and exterior angles and transfer them directly to the saw.

How to Use

Set up the UG-KS 60 underframe on a stable, level surface.
Mount the KS 60 securely to the underframe using the correct adapter setup.
Attach the trimming attachment when cutting longer workpieces.
Connect a suitable dust extractor to the 27/36 mm extraction connection.
Select the required mitre angle, bevel angle or cutting depth setting for the application.
Use the LED spotlight and scribe mark to align the workpiece accurately.
Clamp or support the workpiece properly before cutting.
Start the saw and allow the blade to reach the selected speed before entering the material.
Cut with a controlled, steady motion and allow the blade to stop before lifting the saw head fully.
Fold and secure the underframe for transport when the work is complete.
