Pro Tips
- Use the smallest suitable drive system that safely meets the fastening requirement: 1/4-inch for lighter work, 3/8-inch for general tasks and 1/2-inch for heavier fasteners.
- Select a socket that fits the fastener closely and keep it square during use to reduce the risk of rounding.
- Use deep sockets when additional reach is required over projecting studs or recessed fasteners.
- Store frequently used tool trays in the upper drawers and heavier equipment in the lowest available drawer.
- Use the empty tray positions as a visual checklist before moving the cabinet or completing a job.
- Engage the castor brake before opening a loaded drawer or working next to the cabinet.
- Clean tools before returning them to their trays to protect both the tools and storage inserts.
How to Use
- Position the cabinet on a firm, level workshop floor and engage the castor brake.
- Identify the task and select the correct tool, drive size, socket or screwdriver profile.
- Inspect the selected tool for cracks, deformation, excessive wear or contamination.
- Secure the workpiece or vehicle safely before beginning any repair or maintenance procedure.
- Keep the tool square to the fastener and apply smooth, controlled force.
- Open only one loaded drawer at a time to maintain cabinet stability.
