The ETS EC 150/5 EQ-Plus is the 5 mm stroke version, best suited to intermediate sanding and stronger sanding performance.
For fine and extra-fine sanding, Festool also offers the ETS EC 150/3 version with a 3 mm sanding stroke.
The 150 mm sanding pad gives broad contact on larger surfaces while keeping the machine compact and controllable.
Use with a compatible Festool mobile dust extractor for cleaner sanding, improved visibility and longer abrasive life.
The included Granat Mix Pack D150 gives the user a useful starter selection of abrasives.
The supplied Systainer³ protects the machine and keeps the sander, cable and accessories organised.

Pro Tips

Choose this 5 mm stroke model when you want faster sanding progress than the 3 mm fine-sanding version.
Use lighter pressure and let the machine do the cutting. Pressing harder usually creates heat, swirls and regret.
Connect a Festool dust extractor for the best MULTI-JETSTREAM 2 performance and cleaner sanding results.
Use the correct sanding pad hardness for the surface. Softer pads help on curves, while harder pads keep flat panels crisp.
When sanding coatings, keep the sander moving evenly to prevent heat build-up and clogging.

How to Use

Select the correct 150 mm StickFix abrasive disc for the material and sanding stage.
Attach the abrasive disc to the sanding pad, making sure the dust holes align correctly.
Connect the plug it cable securely to the machine.
Connect a compatible dust extractor to the 27 mm dust extraction connection.
Set the sanding speed according to the material, abrasive grit and amount of removal required.
Place the sanding pad flat on the workpiece before switching the machine on.
Move the sander evenly across the surface using light pressure and overlapping passes.
Progress through the required abrasive grits until the surface is ready for the next finishing stage.
Allow the pad to stop completely before lifting the sander away from the surface.
Disconnect the plug it cable before cleaning, inspecting or storing the machine.
