Invented and perfected by Festool: The guide rail with adhesive pads. Allows users to make straight and precise cuts when carrying out horizontal work on floors or work surfaces, as well as for applications on walls. Easy to secure of different surfaces using the adhesive pads. It is easy and practical to transport two guide rails since they can be inserted above the Systainers carrying handle. The FS/2-KP guide rail is available in lengths of 1400 mm and 1900 mm.

Pro Tips

Use fresh adhesive pads for critical cuts, especially on vertical surfaces or delicate finished materials.
For long panels, connect two guide rails with suitable Festool connecting pieces and check alignment before cutting.
Store the guide rail flat or in a guide rail bag to protect the splinter guard and slideway lining from damage.
When working on coated board, position the splinter guard on the visible edge of the cut for a cleaner finish.

How to Use

Mark the desired cutting line clearly on the workpiece.
Position the guide rail so that the splinter guard aligns with the cut line.
Insert Festool adhesive pads into the guide rail cut-outs where required.
Press the adhesive pads firmly onto the surface to secure the rail.
Place the compatible Festool saw, router or adapter onto the guide rail.
Check that the machine moves smoothly and that the guide rail has not shifted.
Make the cut using steady, controlled movement along the rail.
After cutting, remove the machine and carefully release the adhesive pads from the surface.
Clean the rail and store it safely to protect the splinter guard and slideway surfaces.
