Extra Information
- The product code is M9200.
- A power supply is not included and must be selected separately.
- Use only a compatible regulated 12-18V DC power supply with the correct connector, polarity and sufficient output capacity.
- Select a 2.35 mm accessory specifically suited to the material and intended engraving operation.
- The tool is intended for precision engraving and light material processing rather than heavy grinding or high-load cutting.
- Test the selected accessory and technique on scrap material before engraving the finished item.
Pro Tips
- Sketch or transfer the design onto the workpiece before engraving to improve accuracy and spacing.
- Use light pressure and allow the rotating accessory to remove the material; forcing the tool can reduce control and damage the accessory.
- Rest your hand or wrist on a stable support when engraving small lettering or intricate patterns.
- Make several light passes to deepen a line rather than attempting to reach the full depth in one pass.
- Secure rounded, small or lightweight workpieces in a padded vice or suitable clamp before starting.
- Clean dust from the work area regularly so that the engraved line remains clearly visible.
- Practise on an offcut of the same material to establish the best pressure, angle and movement speed.
How to Use
- Select a compatible 2.35 mm engraving accessory suitable for the material being processed.
- Ensure that the engraver is disconnected from the power supply before fitting or changing the accessory.
- Insert the accessory correctly and secure it firmly according to the tool instructions.
- Secure the workpiece and mark the required engraving design or guide lines.
- Connect the tool to a correctly specified 12-18V DC power supply.
- Hold the engraver securely and start it away from the workpiece.
- Bring the accessory gently into contact with the surface and guide it along the marked line using light pressure.
- Use repeated controlled passes when a deeper or more prominent engraving is required.
- Disconnect the tool from its power source after use and wait for the accessory to stop before handling it.
- Clean the tool and accessory before storing them in a dry, protected location.
