DRILL PRESS VICE 100MM
Features
- 100 mm jaw width suitable for clamping a wide variety of small to medium workpieces.
- Low-profile cast-iron body maximises drilling height under the chuck and adds rigidity.
- Precision-machined jaws provide flat, accurate clamping faces for secure workholding.
- Cross-slotted mounting base allows easy bolting to most drill press and pillar drill tables.
- Acme-style lead screw gives smooth tightening and strong clamping force with minimal effort.
- Knurled steel handle offers positive grip when tightening and loosening the vice.
- Compact footprint ideal for smaller benches and drill presses with limited table space.
Benefits
- Improved drilling accuracy because the workpiece is held firmly and square to the drill bit.
- Safer drilling setup by keeping hands away from the rotating bit and preventing workpiece spin.
- Versatile clamping for metal, plastic and timber components within the vice’s capacity.
- Smoother workflow as you can leave the vice bolted to the drill press and quickly clamp job after job.
- Reliable long-term use thanks to the solid cast-iron construction and quality screw mechanism.

Extra Information
- Designed primarily for use on drill press and pillar drill tables, but can also be bolted to a workbench for light-duty clamping.
- Suitable for drilling operations such as through-holes, clearance holes, tapping-size holes and countersinking.
- Workpiece faces can be protected by adding soft jaw covers when clamping finished or delicate surfaces.
- A dedicated Service Kit (Code: TCV13100-SK01) with replacement jaws, worm and handle is available separately.
- Periodically clean chips from the jaws and screw, and apply a light machine oil to moving parts to maintain smooth operation.
Pro Tip
- Use layout dye or a permanent marker and a centre punch on metal workpieces before clamping in the vice – the clear centre mark helps the drill bit pick up accurately and reduces bit wander.
- When drilling multiple identical parts, clamp a simple stop block against the vice jaw so you can repeat the same position quickly and keep all holes aligned.

Safety

- Keep fingers and loose clothing away from the rotating drill bit and from between the jaws when tightening.
- Secure long workpieces at the free end with additional support or clamps to prevent leverage and potential tipping.
